I’m TheFixer
This week, I’m soft launching TheFixer, a newsletter about my journey as a business development, strategic branding, and killer-content creator consultant. You can read the introduction here. If you want to receive TheFixer once a week in your inbox, you can subscribe here. Next week, I’ll start posting there from the frontlines as I navigate my consulting career in the midst of a global pandemic and an economic downturn.
I’m a resume
I created a new resume for myself this week. I found a PDF template I liked on Google in like two minutes, and it came out sexy as fuck. People have responded affirmatively. Don’t hate the player. Hate the game. My resume game is officially tight. Here’s the template, if you want it. I’ve learned how to use Adobe Acrobat better during the pandemic, so, thanks for that, coronavirus, you dumpster fire of an apocalypse.
I’m networking
Armed with my new resume, I reached out to 25 of my contacts about possible work opportunities. If you got an email from me, hey! If you didn’t and you want one so you can peruse my resume, let me know. My goal is to have reached out to 100 contacts by the end of next week. I am a woman on a mission. As I expected, men were more likely to respond to my email than women, and men were more likely to respond with an actionable response, while women were more likely to respond with an emotional response. If only emotions paid the bills! Ha-ha. I’d be a billionaire, bitches.
